Bringing structure to conservation funding
PAWZ Africa helps turn good conservation intent into well-governed action. We work between donors and project teams to ensure funding is placed responsibly, managed properly, and reported on clearly. From project vetting and fund administration to monitoring and reporting, we provide the structure that gives confidence to everyone involved.
Who we help
PAWZ supports both sides of the conservation funding equation.
Donors
We work with individuals, families, foundations, and businesses who want to support meaningful conservation and community upliftment projects, but need help identifying credible opportunities and ensuring their funding is well used.
Implementing partners
We support NPOs, reserve managers, project managers, researchers, and conservation teams who are doing important work on the ground but need help managing the administration, governance, and reporting side of their projects.
Why it matters
Too many worthwhile conservation projects struggle because good fieldwork is not matched by strong administration, governance, and reporting. Donors lose confidence, funding slows down, and project teams are left carrying burdens that take time away from the real work.
PAWZ exists to close that gap.
We help make conservation funding more accountable, more transparent, and easier to trust by giving both donors and project teams the support structure they need.
Let’s Make Conservation Funding Work Better
If you are a donor looking for a meaningful and credible place to direct your funds, we can help.
If you are running a worthwhile project and need support with administration, governance, and reporting, we can help with that too.
PAWZ brings order, accountability, and confidence to conservation funding.

What we do
- Donor alignment
We help donors identify credible, vetted projects that match their goals and values. This ensures funding is directed where it can create real, measurable impact. - Fund administration
We administer donor funds with proper controls, ring-fenced workstreams, and milestone-based disbursements. This creates accountability and gives both donors and project teams clarity and confidence. - Monitoring and verification
We track project activity against agreed outcomes using field updates, financial records, supporting evidence, and regular oversight. This means progress is measured on proof, not promises. - Reporting and compliance
We prepare clear, professional reports that show how funds were used, what was achieved, and what still needs to happen. Where needed, we also issue 18A documentation and impact reporting aligned to donor requirements. - Project support
For implementing partners, we provide support with the administrative side of project delivery, from onboarding and budget validation to reporting and next-phase planning.
How we work
- We source and vet
We assess project credibility, review budgets, identify risks, and define realistic deliverables before funding is deployed. - We ring-fence and administer
Funds are allocated to approved workstreams and managed against agreed milestones, with proper oversight throughout. - We monitor and verify
We track delivery using evidence from the field so that progress can be measured and trusted. - We report and assure
We provide clear updates on spend, progress, outcomes, and risks, backed by a transparent audit trail. - We help good projects grow
Where a project proves its value, we help position it for continued support and future scale.

take action before it’s too late
Every donation we receive goes straight into conserving our KwaZulu-Natal wildlife and parks.

SUPPORTING WILDLIFE IN KWAZULU-NATAL
Based in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, the majority of our work takes place in this region. Our focus as the name suggests is towards Parks and Wildlife Zululand however upon invitation by other organisations and reserves we will assist on projects nationally.
We are always on the lookout for new opportunities to partner with companies and wildlife areas to help grow conservation. We would love for you to get in touch if we can partner together.
