Day 1: Arrival, Meet & Greet

Afternoon: Arrive at the designated Game Reserve within Kwa-Zulu Natal

Evening: Sunset Game Drive tracking rhinos
– Search for the reserve’s rhinos as rangers share their stories and challenges

Dinner: Fireside Dinner & Dehorning Briefing
– Enjoy a traditional bush dinner under the stars
– Meet the vet and conservation team who will lead the dehorning operation

Day 2: The Dehorning Operation

Early Morning: Briefing on the day’s activities, safety protocols, and rules

Morning: Participate in the rhino dehorning process, which includes:
– Tracking and darting the rhino
– Assisting veterinarians with recording vital signs, collecting DNA samples, and horn removal
– Learning about the ethical considerations and conservation impact of dehorning

Afternoon: Free Time / Optional Activities
– Relax by the pool
– Enjoy a massage
– Take a short nature walk

Evening: Sunset Game Drive
– Bush drinks at a scenic lookout
– Conversation on broader rhino conservation in Africa

Day 3: Tracking & Departure
